A family favorite I have been making for years – these ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls are always a hit!
Ingredients:
Dough
- 134 Cup Warm Milk
- 2 1/4 tsp Active Yeast
- 1/4 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Egg, plus 1 Egg Yolk
- 1/4 Cup Butter, melted
- 3 Cups Bread Flour
- 3/4 tsp Salt
Filling
- 2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 Cup Butter, softened
Frosting
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- 3/4 Cup Powder Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions

In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook, mix warm Milk, Yeast, Sugar, Eggs and Melted Butter. Add Salt and Flour and mix 8 minutes for form a soft dough.

Transfer dough to well oiled bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

On floured surface, roll dough into a 14” x 9” rectangle. Spread softened Butter on dough.

Mix Brown Sugar and Cinnamon, sprinkle mixture on buttered dough. Tightly roll dough from short end and cut into 9 one-inch rolls.

Place rolls in greased 9 x 9 pan, cover with plastic wrap and let rise 35-45 minutes.

Pre-heat oven to 350° F, Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Beat together Powder Sugar, Softened Cream Cheese, Softened Butter and Vanilla Extract until smooth and fluffy. Spread on warm rolls.
