You already have the BBQ going all summer anyway – why not use it for this fun seasonal dessert? (You can use a grill pan if its just too Hot to go outside) This Chili Infused Honey will last for ages – but once you taste it you will be putting it on everything!
Ingredients:
- 4 Firm Peaches, split and pits removed
- 2 Tbsp Neutral Flavored Oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 Cup Honey
- 2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Vanilla Ice Cream
Directions
- In a small sauce pan, over medium heat, bring Honey and Pepper Flakes to a simmer. Remove from heat, stir in Apple Cider Vinegar. Set aside to cool. Can be made ahead of time and stores in a glass jar.
- Brush split Peaches with Oil and sprinkle with Salt. Grill cut side down, over medium heat, for 4-5 minutes. Flip and grill an additional 4-5 minutes or until soft.
- Remove from grill and serve each half with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream and a drizzle of Chili Honey.
Tip – Scoop the Ice Cream onto a wax paper lined dish and keep in freezer until ready to serve.
