As the kids are heading back to school – schedules can get quite hectic! Here is an easy recipe that can have dinner on the table in minutes. Switch up the toppings to make everyone happy.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz Mushrooms, sliced
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Clove Garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp each, Salt, Black Pepper, and Thyme
- 6 Slices Havarti Cheese
- Store Bought Flatbread or Naan
Optional – Balsamic Vinegar, additional Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper and Thyme for serving

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Heat Olive Oil in skillet over medium heat. Add Mushrooms, Salt, Pepper and Thyme. Saute, stirring occasionally, 6-7 minutes, or until mushrooms are slightly browned. Add Garlic and cook 1-2 minutes, remove from heat.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange Flat Bread on pan, layer with Havarti Cheese and mushrooms.

Bake for 6-7 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly. If using, drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil and sprinkle with Salt, Pepper and Thyme. Let cool slightly, cut into pieces and serve warm.
Tip – try different flavor combinations, pick your favorite melty cheese and add one or two tasty toppings
